Willow Glen in Motion: The Art & Technology of Storytelling (public event)
Willow Glen in Motion is pleased to present its first community enrichment event, The Art and Technology of Story Telling, a dynamic interactive workshop presented by Deborah T. Simon. The event will educate people on the advantages of telling stories and reading aloud to children, which include: building strong family bonds, preparing children for school, and establishing the foundation for lifelong learning. Storytelling can create a lasting bond between parent and child.
Deborah is an education administration professional, an engaging lecturer, writer, public speaker, child advocate and minister who talks stories. She has recently published Whispered Blessings: Stories That Inform, Illuminate, and Inspire.
The free event will be held at the community room in the Willow Glen Library on Wednesday September 29 from 5:30-7:30pm. Deborah’s words can truly inspire anyone, and while everyone can benefit from this event, the focus on this event is for parents and teachers.
Seating is limited so contact us through our website or call Spencer at 408.288.7886 to RSVP. More about this event and Deborah T. Simon can be found on our website.
Willow Glen In Motion is sponsored by Integrated Wealth Management, a local financial advising company that handles the personal finances of various households in the Willow Glen area.
