New Monterey Neighborhood Association Board Meeting (public event)

The New Monterey Neighborhood Association invites everyone to join us for the NMNA's Board Meeting held on the lower level of Hilltop Park Center on the second Monday of every month at 7pm.

Tonight, our new police chief, Phil Penko, will be there to talk about what he has in mind for the force, to listen to residents' questions, and to hear concerns.  And the NMNA's newly-elected board will also be electing officers for the year!  The positions of president and secretary are now available.

The NMBA is currently seeking neighborhood volunteers to monitor affairs at the Planning Commission and the City Council.  They would also like to have a representative attend the meetings of the New Monterey Business Association and the Cannery Row Business District.  In addition, there are various other commissions, study groups, and special districts that should be monitored.  No experience is necessary - please contact the NMNA if you're interested in helping out!
