Willow Glen Yoga: Yoga & Recovery Teacher Training (public event)

Willow Glen Yoga presents a 3-day Yoga & Recovery Teacher Training taught by Kent Bond and Kyczy Hawk.

Develop, enhance, or enliven your abilities to teach yoga to those recovering from addictions. Give your students tools to help prevent relapse and become certified in Yoga and the 12 Step Path - Recovery Yoga. The technique is appropriate for all stages of recovery, all types of addictions (process, behavior and substance), and for all levels of yoga experience. It can be brought to people in institutions, treatment centers and offered in any yoga studio.

Students will leave this class with an outline and a several models to organize classes, workshops, and series to offer in and out of rehabilitation venues.

Cost is $225 before June 22, $275 after June 22. A cancelation charge of $50 will be assessed. The class will involve 17 contact hours and 7 hours of homework/self study.  Class will be held Friday, 7pm-9pm; Saturday, 10am- 6pm; Sunday, 9:30am-5pm.To register, please phone 408-289-YOGA or visit our website.
