Carolina Lugo's & Carolé Acuña's Ballet Flamenco (public event)

A sultry Spanish night, with Dancer Antonio Arrebola from Spain is sure to get your heart racing when Carolina Lugo's & Carole Acuna's Ballet Flamenco return to San Jose's Hoover Theater for one night only. The Theater's well worn floors will resonate with the pulsating sounds of footwork, song, castanets, syncopated hand clapping and guitar. If you have not seen this group this is an opportunity to experience their high energy and passion. Carolina and her daughter Carole and their company of musicians and dancers will leave you breathless. Ola!

The Flamenco Society of San Jose founded by Anita Sheer in 1985, now in 27th year of operation, continues to bring to the greater San Franisco Bay Area the best in Cante, Baile and Toque.

The Historic Hoover Theatre with it majestic Spanish style is located in the heart of San Jose's beautiful Rose Garden district. Newly renovated it serves as the artistic jewel in the crown of this strong community. Built in 1931 and designed by renowned architect William H.
