WG Library: Reading to Furry Friends (public event)

Join us at Willow Glen Library for our Reading with Furry Friends Program for children. At this program, we'll pair children who want to improve their reading skills with literacy assistance dogs (and their trainers) from Furry Friends for some one-on-one fun. Bring their favorite book to share with our comforting canines!

Children naturally feel comfortable around dogs. By making the most of this relationship, parents and teachers can improve literacy skills and encourage reading.  Furry Friends' mission is to consistently facilitate delivery of the love and affection of its volunteers and their pets.
