Downtown Campbell First Friday: Hot Nights in the Old Town (public event)
The First Friday in August brings us Hot Nights in the Old Town! Put on those bobby socks and head over to Downtown Campbell to enjoy music of the 50s & 60s, a family-friendly outdoor dance, and a classic car show.
The entertainment for the evening will include The Blues Rockers, a traditional blues and rockabilly band from San Jose; After Dark, a passionate Chicago-style blues band featured in the 2007 City of Campbell Summer Concert Series; and The Hot Rods, a fun and energetic 50s & 60s-style band performing at a family-friendly outdoor dance open to all on the lawn of Darling-Fisher Campbell Memorial Chapel (at the corner of E. Campbell Ave & Second Street).
In addition, everyone is welcome to stop by and view the free classic car show organized by Campbell's own Willies Place Rod & Kustom Car Shop and held in the Odd Fellows Hall parking lot on the corner of 1st Street and Campbell Avenue.
