Kids Program: Bats, Cats, & Spiders, Oh My! (public event)
Since it's fall, why not explore the world of bats, cats, and spiders?! Children ages 5-10 can join Friends of Guadalupe River Park & Gardens to discover the special adaptations these animals have for survival, and even meet a live native tarantula and toad.
At night these creatures may seem spooky, but once some light is shed on them, kids will se just how amazing they are. Participants in the program will also transform a miniature pumpkin into their favorite fall creature to decorate their homes.
Cost is $7 for members of Friends of Guadalupe River Park & Gardens, and $10 for non-members. Pre-registration is required. To reserve a spot, please phone 408-298-7657. Children do not need to be accompanied at this event by an adult.
