The Audacity of Youth (public event)

Clownshoe Entertainment, in cooperation with the San Jose Improv, is proud to announce “The Audacity of Youth”, an upcoming stand-up extravaganza showcasing the best and brightest young comedians America has to offer. This all-star cast of youthful performers will consist of Sammy Obeid, Dan Wilson, Brendan Lynch, Ali Mafi, and Grant Lyon, with the event being hosted by Clownshoe co-founder Jim Panetta. These comedians all represent the future of stand-up, and they’re all coming together for one night to represent “The Audacity of Youth.”

Clownshoe Entertainment is made up of young entrepreneurs who, with no formal business training, have come together with the dream of taking what they had and turning it into a fully-functional production company. This company would specialize in booking and advertising its own public events with the ultimate goal of providing top-of–the-line entertainment for crowds all over the country. Through much resistance, this group of individuals have managed to do just that, with the proof being the amazing success of the company's first comedy showcase, "Stand Up for Humanity", which took place March 7th in Campbell, California. In fact, news of this event’s success has rocked the Bay Area comedy scene, resulting in a number of clubs, bars, and theaters looking to Clownshoe for assistance in putting on shows at their venues.

With this magnitude of demand from the entertainment sector, Clownshoe Entertainment has decided to implement its stylistic brand to the Bay Area comedy scene. The first of these events will be “The Audacity of Youth”, LIVE at the San Jose Improv on April 3rd, at 8:00 p.m. This event will expose you to the future of stand up comedy, with a lineup packed full of the all-around funniest young performers in America today.
