Open Mic Sunday Evening at the Spot (formally Kings Head) (public event)

We're trying to revive the fun and support for local musicians and songwriters, new and old, that was highlighted last year in the Campbell Reporter.

I'll be hosting open mic this Sunday evening at The Spot (formerly known as The Kings Head)...it's been cleaned up a bit and there's been some remodeling. Come support our get together and show the new owners love.

Any music goes, any level of performer, any instrument - bring guitar, keyboard, or flute or whatever...we will have a drum kit and PA. It's a lot like Karaoke but completely different - there's live music!

Signups begin at
7:00PM Look for signup sheet, and Eddie Clay.
8:00PM we begin, each act is about three songs or 12 or so minutes.
11:00ish we end the show.

There's a very supportive audience, a great chance to network with other wannabe and established musicians. Original songs highly encouraged, cover songs and a cappella songs are o.k. too. In fact we can act as a live band for karaoke if singing is all you want to do.
