Third week in a row on the grass we had two nets going and over 18 players. We had some great play and again, some new players. We play year round on Sundays, barring rain. We always have enough for one net, but extra nets are available should the turnout and skill level allow us to expand.
This is open play volleyball for experienced players. Multiple nets and fun people. Please no beginners at this time. We regularly have ten or more players. Must be able to pass the ball consistently. Most players are under 5'9". All are very good sports (a requirement).
If you are a beginner, I am starting a beginner distribution list. You may email me your address and I will keep you posted on appropriate events. When we have enough response, We will host lessons, classes, and beginner leagues if you are interested.
Remember to RSVP. We need minimum six to Rsvp by friday or I will cancel on Saturday. We are planning for another great turnout. See you next week.

Event Discussion Thread
THE RUSSIANS ARE COMING, THE RUSSIANS ARE COMING!! Too late they are already here. Two Nics, Alex, Irina... they were the majority yesterday. I thought we were a mexican group? I thought Alex and our Nick were playing great and then New Nic turned it up and there was down ball hitting in the SAND! Wow! We had some great rallies.
Thanks to everyone who made it. That was a great day on the beach. We need to carpool a little better. Thanks to Reid for getting the word out and bringing some real fun people with him. Moe and Barb as well as the Josh's were a blast and great sports. I think we had nine at noon.
Boy is that water cold and Reid just jumped in, BRRRRR! Sorry Reid, I couldn't get you a set. I will blame it in on my knee. FYI Irina is out for two weeks, we will all have to fill that huge void. Her daughter tired me out more than the volleyball. She loves to chase the waves. Today she turns six! Happy Birthday Veronica!!
