50’s Theme Rodgers and Hammerstein “Cinderella" (public event)

Campbell United Methodist Church presents Rodgers’ and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella,” retrofitted with a 50’s theme. The cast includes teens and adults, many with experience in professional and community theater.
Leather jackets and narrow neckties, pony tails and long skirts, and a fairy “Godfather” will help create a 50’s flair. The theme is a new take on Rodgers’ and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” made popular over the generations in three different movie settings featuring Julie Andrews, Lesley Ann Warren, and Brandy.
Show times are Friday, August 22, and Saturday, August 23, at 8:00 p.m., and Sunday, August 24, at 2:00 p.m. Advance tickets for the performances are $13 for adults and $8 for students and seniors, available through the church office. Tickets at the door are $15 and $10.
