Tapas night has become a Grapevine favorite, and we're about to spice it up a bit. Expanding on this popular theme, we're bringing in some of our favorite small plates and wines from around the world to give the event an international flare!
Some authors assert that the tapa was born when, due to an illness, the Spanish king Alfonso the 10th, the Wise, had to take small bites of food with some wine between meals. Whether we believe that or not, it is likely that tapas appeared because of the need of farmers and workers to have snacks during their working hours.
