Whisky U: Fundraiser for Campbell Highland Games! (public event)

The Campbell Highland Games Association presents Whisky U, a fundraiser benefitting the Campbell Highland Games.
You are invited to “enroll” for an evening of Fine Single Malt tasting on November 15, 2008. The evening will include a Seminar on the History of Scotch and a tasting "How To" presented by Ed Kohl of Signatory. Signatory is an independent bottler of rare Single Malts that would otherwise be lost to the blenders. These Malts are hard to come by, but offer a unique opportunity to taste rare offerings. The whisky line up for this event is:
1990 Littlemill 16 year old, Lowland
1989 Bruichladdich 18 year old Unchillfiltered, Isle of Islay
Edradour 10 year old, Distillery Bottling, Highland
1995 Linkwood 12 year old, Speyside
1992 Strathmill 15 year old, Speyside
1990 Macallan 17 year old Un-Chillfiltered, Speyside
1997 Isle of Jura 10 year old Un-Chillfiltered, Isle of Jura
1989 Highland Park 22 year old Cask Strength, Isle of Orkney
The evening will also include a No-host Bar, Dinner, Silent Auction, Donation Drawing, and Live Entertainment
The Campbell Highland Games are on the brink of not returning in 2009. The success of this event will decide our fate. Please support this worthwhile event that has been a part of the South Bay for over 30 years. Join us on November 15th and help us continue to provide the South Bay’s premiere Highland Games!
Cost: $50.00 per person (includes tasting of 8 rare single malts, dinner, and entertainment)
