Willow Glen Books -- Poetry Reading by Jean Emerson (public event)

Willow Glen Books is pleased to present a reading by Bay Area poet Jean Emerson, followed by an open mic reading. All are welcome to bring a poem of their own or by a favorite poet to share.

Jean Emerson will discuss writing on the road and read an array of her poems associated with distance and memories. A longtime supporter of poetry and memoir writing in San Jose, Jean has published three books of poetry: Not Alone, Cycles of the Moonvine, and Lessons from the Castle, and has also published a book on organizing one's own writing group, With a Little Help From Your Friends.
