Willow Glen Foundation Annual Wine Tasting & Auction (public event)

Each year, local wine makers and merchants donate products and services to raise funds to improve Willow Glen Middle and High School. This year, our goal is to raise over $30,000 to be used directly to improve student literacy, including:

• Refresh and update books in both school libraries;
• Expand the individualized reading program in the middle school;
• Put more books in language arts and literature classrooms; and
• Fund 8th Grade literature circles.

In addition, for the first time, a percentage of the ticket price goes directly to the Willow Glen Public Library.

The event will include tasting of wines by Stroth-Hall Cellars, Tre Ricci, Clos LaChance, Cinnabar Vineyards and Winery, Joseph George, and Kathryn Kennedy. Guests will also taste beers from Gordon Biersch as well as a variety of cheeses, Schurra’s chocolates, and gourmet appetizers. During the late afternoon gathering, attendees will enjoy live music as well as opportunities to bid on an assortment of silent auction items.
