Bone Marrow Drive (public event)

Every day over 6,000 men, women and children desperately search the National Marrow Donor Program registry for a marrow match. That's 6000 a day!  Boggles the mind, doesn't it?  A simple cheek-swab (just like in CSI) and you're done. Please consider registering -- your generous gift could save a life.

To join, you only need to:

-- Be 18-60 years old
-- Be willing to donate to anyone in need
-- Meet health guidelines

Donors with diverse racial or ethnic backgrounds are especially needed.

This event takes place in Room 11 of the Willows Senior Center.  A $25 tax-deductible donation is requested to offset the cost of tissue-typing. The first 10 registered donors will be sponsored by organizers Jim and Judith Enright.
