RAINED OUT - Grass Volleyball - San Tomas Park 3/22/2009 (public event)

Raul turns 50 this month (3/29). He will be out of town on his Bday weekend, so this will be you last chance to see the kid before he turns into "El Viejo", the old man. He still yells full volume. Like Joe Rooney said, "Raul is here!" If you have seen his play lately, he can't jump, can't walk/run, can't hit or block. Pretty soon we will have to stake him into the court like a scarecrow. Out of town, have fun.

Thanks to all for another great day of volleyball. Twenty people, two nets, Reid and Jessie, Rick and Karen all returned. Great day. We had one team getting full of themselves so Akram and I had to shut them down. We still don't know if George ever won a game? With day light savings time we played until almost 7pm. The weather was better at the end. If someone said "one more game" I was going to kill them. I was hurting monday. Can you believe Rick went running and played volleyball? Akram started making serves in the final games. How can someone who stands taller than the net miss?

Can't wait to see you all next sunday. Thanks to Marty for arriving on time and setting up his net. Have a great week.

Please check this posting before you head out. I hate to say "Rain" - blah, puttuey, I hate that word - is in the forcast, 80% chance. I will follow. Don't count on peter, he will be in front of his HD basketball games. Good ol' Raul would rather play than watch. I just record and watch later, hear that PETER? Please check before you go.
