Beginning the New Fall Session of Art Classes!! (public event)

As the Fall season continues into the colder months, The Art Beat is proud to present a variety of classes for any age. Whether your child wants to be up to their elbows in clay or cultivating their drawing skills, The Art Beat is sure to have a class they will enjoy. Our studio offers seven- week courses in many mediums:

-Rhythms and Art Class: Our pre-school aged class that includes mixed media classes as well as creative dance! We ask that a parent attend with the child. Ages 1/2 through 5 years.

-Clay Creation: Learn basic hand-building techniques and beginner's sculpting. The ceramics your children make will also be glazed (painted) by students. Ages 5 and up.

-Potter's Wheel: Learn the art of the potter's wheel, a meditative experience taught by a patient and experienced instructor. Ages 10 through adult.

-Art Exploration: Try a little bit of everything in this multimedia course. Everything from clay to decoupage and mosaic will be presented in this class. Ages five and up.

-Drawing and Painting: Students with an interest in painting, sketching, or pastel will learn technique as well as expression in this class. Many styles and mediums are used. Ages 5 through 16.

-Mosaic: Our Ladies' Night Mosaic is a great opportunity to learn about mosaic art as well as to relax among friends. Ages 16 and up.

If your child would like to attend a class but does not have time to come to a scheduled course, we would be more than happy to develop a customized class schedule for him or her. We also provide private and semi-private lessons in all offered mediums.
