The Santaland Diaries by David Sedaris (public event)
Group:
The Center for Spiritual Living presents a performance of David Sedaris's Santa Land Diaries, directed by Susan Overland, adapted for the stage by Joe Mantello, and featuring David Bruner as Crumpet the Elf.
Based on the outlandish true chronicles of David Sedaris's experience as Crumpet the Elf in Macy's SantaLand display, this hilarious cult classic riffs on a few of Sedaris's truly odd encounters with his fellow man during the height of the holiday crunch. It is recommended for mature audiences. NPR humorist and best-selling author, David Sedaris, has become one of America's pre-eminent writers and satirists.
This production will include two performances: Dec. 4th at 8pm and Dec. 6th at 2pm. Tickets are $20 advance purchase, $25 at the door, or you may purchase a $50 VIP ticket which will include: reserved seating, dessert reception following the performance, and a private reading of another Sedaris classic, Six to Eight Black Men. For event details and to order tickets please click here.
All proceeds from this production will benefit the Center for Spiritual Living Beautification Project.
