Hicklebee's presents Holiday Slipper Stories (public event)
Group:
Hicklebee's Books of Downtown Willow Glen is pleased to present storyteller Margaret More! Back by popular demand, Margaret More brings us cozy winter fun. She will read a variety of books each evening and will often start with a parade around the store.
Pajamas and slippers recommended. Best for ages 4 & up. Wiggling is certainly acceptable.
Margaret More has been storytelling at parties, school assemblies and community gatherings for the last 20 years. Born and raised in England where "books became my passion," she came to California when she was 19. Margaret is well known in many classrooms as "Mother Earth" or "Mother Goose" and during the winter season as "Mother Winter" or "Old Buffana". With a background in early childhood education, theater arts, dance and music, she never lets an opportunity to dress up pass her by.
