WG Library Book Talk: Women's Ways of Leading (public event)

Willow Glen Library welcomes Mary E. Gardner, co-author with Linda Lambert of the book Women's Ways of Leading, who will speak about findings from a 20-year study of women leaders. The study began in San Jose with educators, and then expanded to industry. In this talk, learn about the values, courage, imagination, sense of community, and mentoring that is shared by women leaders
Gardner is the former superintendent of the Saratoga School District, a visiting practitioner at Harvard University, and a professor of educational leadership. She consults with non-profit organizations and has served on five boards of directors.
