Our City Forest Green Fair 2010 (public event)

Our City Forest is happy to celebrate the planting of 50,000 trees in San Jose with a Green Fair at Treehouse in the Glen!
Community members of all ages are invited to take part in free, family-friendly activities, including: tree tours on the Tree Mobile; pruning demonstrations; an Ask The Arborist Information Booth; Kid's Area – with games, crafts, and face painting; photos with OCF's 6-foot tree mascot; Adopt-an-Oak Seedling Giveaway; a native tree and plant market; an EcoMetro Guide raffle; and music and light refreshments.

Our City Forest is a non-profit urban forestry organization that has served the San Jose area since 1994. With help from city and state grants and local contributions, Our City Forest has distributed $5 million worth of free trees and services to neighborhoods, schools, and agencies, including over 50,000 15-gallon shade trees.
