The Severrns-Pease display in Sunnyvale is legendary! The sheer magnitude of the light display is impressive enough, but what really makes this two house display amazing is how they've synchronized the light show to music (both holiday, non-holiday). According to a handout, they've got 131 separate switches running the lightshow and they really really have the timing part down. There are also some really nice displays near this house.
On this night, the neighborhood gathered here for some caroling, causing a total traffic jam when combined with the already jam packed line of cars waiting to get a look on Sunday night. If you're looking for this display, you may want to try an odd night when the competition to view it is going to be a little less intense. There were so many people here on Sunday night at 8pm that I couldn't get a decent photo.
