Makin Hay 2002 at Stanford Dish Preserve
The Makin Hay art piece has been on display at the Stanford Dish Open Space Preserve for a while, but I finally had my camera on my as I was passing by yesterday. Three hay giants are shown in various work poses on the initial slopes of the Dish Preserve's rolling hills near the Stanford Gate entrance.

There's actually a funny story behind this photo. I walked up the preserve to look for some angles and I couldn't get any of the angles I wanted because of where the sun was. I was just taking some test shots when I took this photo. It was actually the first one I took and as I was taking it some nosy body hiking the trail comes up to me and says "Hey! You taking a picture of THAT?"
I nod at her.
"Well, you should know that you're taking it from the entirely wrong angle."
"Umm, thanks," I replied.
