The Social Wave Events & Mixers group is a series of fun, social, and sometimes unusual events organized as official Social Wave events by its administrators. This event group was originally started by Sheldon as Events at 1083 as a way to meet people and make friends in low key social settings, but evolved bit by bit into the full blown Social Wave site you see today.

You should check out our photo gallery to get an idea of the assortment of events that we like to organize as "Official Social Wave" mixers. Some of the more interesting events that we've featured in the past include Non-Dominant Hand Bowling, Backyard House Concerts, and the annual Winter Wonderland Bus Tour of Lights and Xmas displays.

The age and personality span for these events have varied widely depending on the type of event.

We try to hold at least one official event a month.
