Don't give out your contact information to other members freely
Social Wave provides a number of tools to allow you to contact other members without exposing your email address or other contact information. Please be careful of who you allow to receive your personal contact information.

Don't post your address online
You should always be careful about giving out your home address to other people online. If you're hosting an event at your residence, ask people to RSVP for the event and provide your address to them only if you're comfortable with them.

Meet in public places
If it's a new group of people, try meeting in a public place like a coffeeshop or a restaurant.

Don't reuse your Social Wave account password on other sites
You should not be using the same password on Social Wave as you use elsewhere, especially if those other sites contain highly sensitive information about you.
