Social Wave is free to use, but not free to operate. It costs us thousands of dollars each year and over a thousand hours of volunteer labor to run Social Wave each year. The money we make on the advertising on the site doesn't even come close to making a dent in our costs. If you believe in Social Wave's mission of facilitating a more connected local community in Silicon Valley where we all know more of our neighbors, have stronger roles in the community, and mom and pop businesses have a better chance of surviving, please upgrade to a Premium Membership. In return for your membership dues, we'll thank you with a few special features available only to Premium Members.

Premium Member Benefits:

Premium Member Icon Next to Your Name:
Show your support with pride! People who are pitching in to help us keep Social Wave running are identified with a premium member icon next to name in posts and other areas of the site.

Receive Email from Any Member(or Guest):
Premium members have the option of allowing basic members to contact them directly via email sent from their member profile pages. Premium members can also allow guest users to send them emails. This is a particularly handy option if you post public announcements and want to be easily reached, but don't want to leave your email address exposed.

Maxed Out Personal Message Storage:
Basic members are allowed to store up to 35 messages in their personal messages folders. Premium members are allowed to store up to 1000 messages.

Maxed Out File Manager Storage:
Basic members are allowed to store up to 5Mb of images, files, and documents online through the file manager. Premium members are allowed to store up to 500Mb of data in their file manager.
