Your Social Wave member account comes with a range of privacy options that you can access from the Privacy & Preferences page of your My Account Control Panel area.

Others Can E-Mail Me Through My Profile
If you want other users to be able to send an email to you through your member profile, leave this box checked. Only premium members have access to send and receive messages from other users via email.

All guests & all members to email me
Normally, only premium members are allowed to contact other members via email, but if you're a premium member, you have the option of allowing all users (including guests) to send you an email through your member profile. This will allow you to receive open communications without exposing your email address.

Allow Search Engines to Index Your Profile?
Social Wave pages are regularly indexed by popular search engines such as Google, Yahoo, or MSN. If you don't want any of your profile pages to be indexed by these search engines, uncheck this box. This will only affect the four pages that are viewed as part of your profile. Any messages you post may still be indexed.

Profile Visibility Settings
You have the option of making your member profile completely hidden or partially hidden from other users on the site. You can hide your profile from guests only or from all users (excluding admins).
