Help » Using Social Wave » Preventing Social Wave Emails from being marked as Spam

Many email clients and services will mistakenly mark emails sent by the Social Wave site as spam or unsolicited bulk mail. If you want to be sure that you're receiving all email sent to you through the Social Wave site, please read the following suggestions.

Add the following email addresses to your mail program/service's addressbook:

  • Add the following email addresses to your mail program/service's addressbook:
    • Site notifications: noreply@socialwave.net
    • Weekly newsletters: news@socialwave.net.

  • If you have any email sent by Social Wave that is marked as spam, unmark them and move them out of your spam box. If you're using a web mail account, you may also want to contact your service provider's customer service to ask them how to keep Social Wave email from being mistaken as spam. If you use a popular service like AOL, Yahoo Mail, Gmail, or Hotmail, we highly suggest that you tell their customer service that you wish to receive emails sent to you by socialwave.net.

If you want to stop getting notifications, announcements, and messages from other members, you can turn off all email notifications from your MyAccount Control Panel. Social Wave does not send out any unsolicited advertisements and we certainly will never send out email asking for any financial information or ask you to update your account information with us. If you get a spoofed email that appears to come from Social Wave asking you for sensitive information, please report it to us immediately through our support pages.
