About the OwnerSheldon Chang In 1996 when I built my first website as a college student, all you needed was an entry level knowledge of HTML and a minimal understanding of Photoshop to call yourself a Web Designer. Needless to say, things have changed. I prefer to be called a Web Developer these days because its no longer enough to design a good looking website. If you want a quality website that lasts, you need to architect them. To do that you need someone who's part graphic designer, copy writer, engineer, and usability analyst.
It also helps to be a good communicator and have the ability to understand what people want to do with their websites. That part hasn't changed and won't ever change. I have a master's degree in physical therapy and was once a practicing physical therapist (with a huge fondness of technology). Having trained and worked as a healthcare professional, I come from a professional culture that realizes the importance of good communication and the value of ethics. I cover a lot of ground for one person and because of that, I'm able to get projects done faster and less expensively than most design studios out there. I even had an outsourced project come back to me because the company in India wasn't able to beat my price or delivery timeline. Please take a look at my design samples in the gallery section or check out my portfolio to see if I'm right for your needs.
