HEY ALL, WE BOTH HAVE BEEN DINING AT KOMATSU FOR OVER 6 YEARS AND COUNTING. EVERSINCE WE FIRST WALKED IN, WE NEVER WALKED OUT! WITH NEW OWNERS, KEN AND STEVEN, THE PLACE HAS ONLY BEEN IMPROVING WITH A MUCH WIDER ARRAY OF FOOD AND FUN. THE ENVIRONMENT IS RELAXING FILLED WITH FUN AND FRIENDLY PEOPLE. IF YOU WANT REAL JAPANESE CUISINE, KOMATSU IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

About a week ago, my husband and I decided to try Komatsu for our first time. We've been to several sushi restaurants, but this eatery was definitely one of a kind. The food looked and tasted fresh. Service was real good and the place was lively. This certainly won't be the last time we'll be dining at Komatsu. It left a rather delicious impression and a full stomach for the both of us.

I have eaten at Komatsu a couple of times...and I have found that the sushi is some of the freshest and best tasting ever! They have a large variety of fish items, both raw and cooked, and a delightful assortment of vegetarian choices as well. Their tempura is really light and yummy too. The prices are very reasonable and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommended.

We had met Steven at a prior sushi establishment, and we were very excited to find out that he was opening a place of his own. Though it's 30 minutes out of our way, we are still continuing our weekly sushi ritual with Steven. Good sushi is hard to find, and for all the sushi lovers out there, you know what I am taliking about!! Great new additions to the menu. Quality is EXCELLENT and the price is very reasonable.

After moving from San Francisco to Santa Clara, I had such a difficult time finding a good Japanese restaurant. After trying several different Japanese restaurants and consuming dozens of chewy, mushy, and old sushi/sashimi, I finally found the one, the best Japanese resturant of the South Bay. Komatsu's sushi menu is extensive, their rolls original, and their sushi/sashimi are fresh and delicious! The service is great, there is never a line, and the best thing about Komatsu's is once you've found them, you'll never have to go anywhere else to find good sushi.
