Did you know that Tax-Aide Volunteers from the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) offer free help for older taxpayers and people with limited incomes in filing the 1040 Form and the more standard schedules, including Schedules A and B? Assistance will be available at Willow Glen Public Library on Wednesdays, 10am-3pm, February 1 - April 11, 2012. For more information, please phone the Library at 408-808-3045.
In honor of National Teen Tech Week, it's time for San Jose Public Library's 5th Annual Battle of the Bands! Eligible contestants will compete first in an online voting round 2/1-3/3 on SJPL's Battle of the Bands website. The top 5 finalists will then be invited to play a publicized concert finale on March 24.
