<p><a href="http://greenplanetyarn.com">Green Planet Yarn</a> in Downtown Campbell is pleased to present the class <em>Socks Lite on Circular Needles</em>. This class, held on three successive Sundays (September 23rd, 30th, and October 7th), is for beginning knitters. <br /><br />This class is for individuals who want to learn how to make a sock. In this three-session class you learn how to make small child-size socks on your choice of either two circular needles (two different lengths recommended) or one circular for magic loop (minimum length 32"). Skills learned will include working in the round, turning the heel, forming the toe and kitchener stitch. Students wishing to use double-pointed needles should sign-up for the Socks Lite class using the double point needle technique. Students will be given instructions to make adult size socks on worsted weight yarn at the end of the third session.</p><p> </p><p>REQUIREMENT: Students need to bring to class a worsted weight yarn in a solid light color and appropriate circular needles (US 5-7).</p><p> </p><p>The staff at Green Planet Yarn will be happy to help you pick out your supplies. Instructor will distribute pattern at the beginning of the first class. <br /><br />Fee: $75, pattern included. Note tax is charged for the pattern. Yarn, needles and other supplies additional.
