I'm really sorry to hear you had a bad experience, Lorena. I just want to make one qualification to your comments. This website is not run by the City of Campbell, it is run by the Downtown Campbell Business Association, a non-profit organization whose members (local business owners) post events and announcements. This particular class was posted by Sushi [Confidential], the business which hosted the class. The City of Campbell has nothing to do with this website or its content.

This was the most unorganized event. I talked my girlfriend into attending this with me. Got there at 7 sharp, and we were told to come early. The guy at the front door didn't know what was going on. When he came back to us, he told us they weren't ready, there was room at the bar or we could go outside and wait and they would come and get us. Went to the bar, no room, sat at an empty table next to the bar and in the path of the back room where the event was supposedly taking place. No one approached us ever, not even to task us if we wanted a drink or look at a menu. After sitting there for 15 minutes, we left and found another Sushi restaurant to have dinner at.

It was totally rude and I won't go back. Glad money wasn't taken in advance for this City of Campbell posted event.

Sushi [Confidential] offers sushi making classes as a fun way to learn something new and eat what you make.  This is a hands-on class where students will be able to learn the art of making sushi from start to finish.  First you will learn how to make sushi rice, then cut vegetables and fish, and finally designing and making the rolls!

Class Date: Tuesday, Aug 20th
Time: 7-9pm
Cost: $50 (regularly $75)

Contact Randy at SushiRandy@Gmail.com to sign up.
