Precious Metal Clay (PMC) is a compound of minute particles of silver, water, and an organic binding; one works the raw material just like clay. When the pieces are fired the water evaporates and the organic binder burns off, leaving you with a finished product that is fine silver.

Instructor Nancy Banks will cover all the required basics of working with PMC: the varieties, handling, firing, etc. The small class size will then allow for individual instruction in the areas that students are interested in: beads, casting, texturing, layering, etc. People at all skill levels are welcome! The only prerequisite is a sense of play and adventure.

The cost of the class is $45. A material fee of $5 covers all supplies and tools except the clay.
