Hala Dance Company is very proud to present workshops by two spectacular native Arabic artists at Halanda Studio! Grammy-nominated master percussionist Souhail Kaspar teaches workshops for drummers, dancers then both together. And, for the very first time in Northern California, Khadijah, of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, teaches her native art, Khaliji dance!

Don't miss this great opportunity to study with the masters of Middle Eastern music and dance, bringing their authentic native arts to your own backyard.

Workshop Schedule:
9:30am-10am : Registration
10am-12pm : Drum Solos for Dancers & Drummers (Souhail Kaspar)
12pm-1pm: Break
1pm-3:30pm: Khaliji Dance (Khadijah)
3:30pm-4pm: Break
4pm-6pm: Tablah for Intermediate & Advanced Drummers (Souhail Kaspar)
