Heart of Chaos (HOC) was created by former at-risk young adult and emerging artist Curtis Manzano (see picture below) with the financial & inspirational support of Catalyst for Youth, a 501 © 3 California corporation. The core idea was to provide a venue for other emerging and under-recognized fine artists, writers, poets, and photographers to showcase and market their work.

Heart of Chaos has a Community Outreach Task Force created by emerging artists Anabella Pinon and Miguel Machuca that partners with other groups to benefit the community at large. Currently a weekly art class is given at San Jose's Juvenile Hall.
