I was born and raised in this great little town of Campbell where I still reside. After attending Campbell High School I served four years in the United States Air Force, spending six months in Texas and then three and a half years in England. I met my wife the second day I was stationed in England and we married two years later in July of 1965. On returning from England in 1967 we drove a Volkswagon across the USA which broke down twice. I went to work for IBM in March of 1967 and retired after 38 years as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2002 I took two semesters of pottery at West Valley College from Dave Ogel which I really enjoyed. It got me back into art which I started in High School and continued at West Valley College after the service. My studio is at my home in basement with a wheel and an electric kiln. Throwing clay is a meditation for me and goes hand in hand with one of my other passions, surfing.
