I grew up in the Midwest surrounded by tools, radio gadgets (zap), beer (urp), bratwurst (YUM!), thunderstorms (COOL!), tornadoes (WOW!) and blizzards (BRRRRRrrrrr). Left in search of technology and a career. Wandered around for a few years working on some of the coolest technologies around... (at least 1/2 of CSI is for real). Furthered my interest in public service (didn't do the military thing) by serving 8 years as a volunteer firefighter/rescue worker in Texas. Did the travel job thing for 4+ years and settled in Silicon Valley - great techie part stores and lots of mountain tops! Got into PCs and can't seem to get out of them. Here I am.
