Peno Spano serves up unique northern Italian dishes that are served in a homey setting deep in the heart of Campbell (formerly Giuseppe's).

Don't expect red sauce and meatballs at this white-tablecloth-and-candlelit restaurant. Yes, pastas are the star, but in the form of gnocchi in Gorgonzola sauce and and the Pasta Bellagio (my personal favorites). Entrees range from osso buco to scallops in a garlic white wine sauce. The dining experience is casual, just the kind of setting for nursing a glass of wine between courses. I highly recommend a visit!
