My experience at Sushi Zone is occasional. My family and I usually go for their sashami (raw fish) dishes. The fish is very fresh and they give generous slices. Presentation is okay, and the service, I would agree with you, could use improvement. Sushi Zone is a Korean run resturaunt and not traditional Japanese. I've found this resturaunt and Futasato across the way on Campbell Avenue are non-Japanese. Though both do make hand made sushi, however, I tend to like Futasato better. It's little more expensive, and I think you are paying for the ambiance and decor with the private tatami rooms and service buttons. Futasato also has a larger menu selection.
