Review Title: Quality VW Service, Half the Price [ View All Reviews ]

Thumbs Up!
I was referred to Kirkwood VW by a couple of Social Wave members a while back and I wanted to take my car in a few times first before writing a review. I was tired of having to drive a ways to get my 2000 Passat serviced at the dealership shop and was hoping to save a bit on my car maintenance costs.

I just took my car in for my third maintenance with them and I have no complaints whatsover
and I'm estimating that I ended up only paying half the price of what I would have had to pay at the dealership shop. As far as I can tell, the workmanship on the maintenance services was just as good... no it was better. I don't have any objective measure to go by, but I swear my car felt like it ran smoother than it ever did after the first time I had my car serviced there.

If you just want good honest work done on your VW, Kirkwood VW is a great place to go. It's a no frills experience, so if you're one of those people who likes to be coddled and treated like royalty from a cheerful team of "sales mechanics" who see to it that your car is washed before you pick it up, you might want to stick with the dealership shops. On the other hand, with the money you'll save, I'm sure you can take it to a car wash yourself. There's actually one a few hundred feet from their shop.
