Highly stylized, very beautiful, really unusualI really enjoyed the film, but I agree that if you approach it FROM the traditional American action-film perspective you'll probably be disappointed. I really liked how stylized everything was - it tore away the trappings of reality for me.The visual and aural sensuality of the film FROM beginning to end was extraordinary. Cinematographical Candy Fest, Good Action, Painful Love ScenWhen we went to see this movie as a group, it got some pretty sharp critique right away after the movie had ended. Some very obvious flaws in the story are evident as laughter is heard around the theater during some very serious tragic scenes. If you love cinematographical eye candy and Chinese Opera, you'll absolutely love most of this movie.View Full Review >> Date Added: 19 December 2004
