The South Bay Stompers Jazz Band will be performing (with your's truly on cornet) this Saturday, August 16th, from 10:00am to 11:30am at the Los Gatos Fiesta de Artes. Just a warning, like ATT park everything is $6 or up. Cash only. You can bring in water, anything in plastic. But if you need cash there it is a $3.50 fee. Ridiculous for a non-profit to be charging so much. I have over four hundred in the car but there were 400 people waiting for the buses to get back to the parking lot. I just paid the fee after I burned thru $50 in two hours. I was only there three. Too hot. Good company, great music, local groups, food too expensive except the steak sandwich. The pasta...more
