I decided to stay on neutral email accounts and after experimenting, I liked AOL. I won't use a limited email account tied to an internet provider again. It is a pain in the ass to restart a new service when you change service providers. I think OUTLOOK is too limiting, have to be on the same computer all the time. I want to access my email from any computer. AOL offers unlimited storage, I never have to delete a note. Let me know what you think about AOL.

My Opinion: After years of discounts, I finally settled on a regular price $180 /month for my internet, phone and cable tv. I thought they were out of their mind. I bailed. I can get internet, phone and satellite for $90/month with Att/dish. I was worried that my internet might slow down but was amazed, it was faster. I got two dvr's, four rooms, internet, phone, and internet for almost $100 less /month. The only difference with the packages was unlimited long distance calling and I already had that on my cell phone. I only needed the phone to get the DSL.

Now they have revised everything to where it is not as useful. The TV listings got watered down. the connectivity between the calendar and all activities got watered down to where they are useless. I used to keep a public calendar that I could share with my family to coordinate. I keep the account as my fall back but I use other accounts since it doesn't let me send large dist lists. My Opinion: Ryan Kelly, the owner of Campbell Tile and Stone, is the ultimate in a used car salesman -- slick and a story teller to boot. I should have gotten a clue from his hyperkinetic style. You can arrive at your own conclusions as to what causes that. By the end of my dealings with him, my husband and I had our theories, none of them good.
Ryan has a lot of ideas, however, take a step back and think about whether they aren't the most elaborate and expensive ideas. Typically he's way over the top. He will try to "sell" you on feasibility of his designs, but later, when the tile installer and I were trying to put his ideas into the bathroom we actually had to work with, we had to revise the design heavily just to fit it into the space.
Ryan took my money in full up front -- that was my mistake, but of course, after I paid him, I no longer heard from him with any updates. 4 months after the order was placed, I tried to get him to deliver the merchandise. It was clear he hadn't actually ordered anything and was scrambling to catch up. Worse yet, he'd deliver it bit by bit. Nothing was ever a complete order and he would make promise after promise as to when the remainder would come in. Each promise was broken, repeatedly. Oftentimes, I would just go to another location (Bedrosians, Tile Shop, Tile Fantastic, etc) and just pick up what I needed. What a contrast to either get the merchandise right away or get a firm delivery date.
Ryan didn't get it -- all I wanted was a realistic estimate as to when something would come in (and an explanation about why something that had been ordered 16 weeks earlier was not readily available in the first place -- what a shoddy practice to take the money and do nothing). Instead, he'd come up with crazy excuses re people dying or kids being in the ER -- the latter was a complete lie, as it turned out, since that same evening, he told me he'd been with customers since 7 am.
Two of my neighbors had warned me about Ryan as did a plumbing shop down the street. I didn't listen and boy, what a mistake. Stay away and reduce your aggravation factor. Other things to note: No samples in his shop and no listed prices, no one other than him in the shop can commit to anything regarding delivery. Asking for payment in full up front. Hearing him on the phone promising people checks (in small and large amounts). All red flags. This guy should be run out of town.
