SIDEWALK GREETER
The job of the sidewalk greeter is to pass out flyers to people passing by on the street and to answer questions from people about Sundown Cinema. Let them know that the event is free and see the Sundown Cinema tidbits below for things to tell people. The sidewalk greeter’s shift ends when the movie starts.

INFO TABLE GREETER
The info table greeter’s main job is to watch the donations jar which also doubles as our concessions jar. Your other job is to answer questions from people who approach the table. In a pinch, you may be asked to assist with the concessions stand by taking money or making change. While the sidewalk greeters are around, you probably won’t see much traffic, but after the movie starts, you will be the only appointed person to answer questions.

STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW TO ANSWER QUESTIONS:

*Show time is around 9pm to 8pm with the later start coming at the start of the season due to the longer days preventing us from starting the movie

*They need to bring their own chairs

*Seating is first come first serve. Come early to get the best seats.

*The lot opens at 6:30pm

*Sundown Cinema is free to attend.

*It can get cold after the sun sets! Remind them to bring a blanket or to bring extra clothes to wear.

*We have popcorn, candy, and drinks for sale at the movies.

*This is Sundown Cinema’s 8th year.

*Sundown Cinema is an all-volunteer affair. We get some limited help from the Downtown Campbell Business Association, but we run on an all-volunteer crew and we’re self funded through donations and sponsorships.

*No smoking and no alcohol.

*Dogs are allowed, but only if they’re well behaved and please ask them to sit toward one of the ends of the lot.

*The best bet on bathrooms are in Therapy, Orchard Valley Coffee, and Katie Bloom’s.]]>
You get to make up to three suggestions for the audience choice movie. Just email your picks to sundown@downtowncampbell.com up through August 12th. You may also make your suggestions by writing in your nominations at Sundown Cinema.

The top three most nominated movies will be announced on Friday, August 13th at our screening of "From Russia with Love." We'll put the three titles up for voting in an online poll and the one that gets the most votes by 4pm on Friday, August 20th will be the final movie of the year.

We will need people for the following roles. All times are approximate as the starting time and ending time for movies change as the length of the day and length of the movie changes.

- Setup (6pm to 7pm)
- Info Desk / Greeter / Donation Jar Attendee (7pm to 11pm)
- Concessions - Popcorn & etc. (7pm to 11pm)
- Backup A/V Operator (7pm to 11pm)
- Break Down (11pm to 11:30pm)
