Request: Opt-In vs. Opt-Out
Summary:
Currently, when you RSVP for an event,
the "Notify me of RSVPs/Updates" checkbox
is unchecked by default. Many times people
may forget to check the box, even though
they really would like to be kept up-to-date
about event status. True, the event organizer
could do (?) a broadcast msg to the RSVP list
should he need to communicate additional info.
about the event. But I'm wondering whether
it would make more sense having the "Notify
me of RSVPs/Updates" box *checked* by default,
and the person can uncheck it when they RSVP
should they not want updates. At least that's
the way I would prefer more.
Thanks!

Comment: Hmmm...that's odd. I thought I actually did have the "Notify Me" set to a checked status by default. I think I might have knocked something out unintentionally in the past few months. I'll look into getting this fixed in the next couple of weeks. I completely agree that it should be checked by default.
Thanks for noticing this Don! Just for this, I'm going to delete another 5 of the 58 faces of Don photo collection from last night.
