Bug Report: "Remember Me" doesn't seem to work
Summary:
Hi Sheldon,
I have logged in quite a bit lately, and the "remember me?" feature never works. I'd LOVE for it to remember me, so I wouldn't have to type in my name so much. Can you activate that?
Thank you!
Kim

Comment: Hi Kim,
The next time you come to Social Wave, instead of logging in, click on the big Social Wave splash image in the middle of the screen or click on the "Enter the Site" link. If you have cookies enabled, you should still be logged in.
If you click on the image or the link to enter the site and you see Current User: Guest at the very upper right corner, let me know and we'll troubleshoot.
"Remember Me" actually does work in most cases, but people get confused because when they goto "socialwave.net" it goes to the splash page where there's a login box again. All you have to do is click to enter the site and you should still be logged in.
I need to do something to make this less confusing, but just know that unless you have a firewall or security software that's interfering with our user tracking mechanisms, "Remember Me" should be doing what it's supposed to do. It'll keep track of you via a cookie for up to six months.
