Ok, the 49ers had a very bad year.. They ended up being 2-14.

What a strange and confounding team they had this year. Either they completely choked each time they got a lead or teams were all underestimating them up until that point. They could have gone the first half of the season with a winning record and first place had they managed to eek out just a field goal or stop a field goal in a bunch of their first 8 games. Man, then did they stink the last 8.
Erikson looked like a desperate pick when they signed him. He looks twice as dumb now. I wonder who they'll bring in for head coach next year.
