If you live in the San Tomas neighborhood in Campbell you probably know about Palermo's Pizza and hopefully you've tried it too. If not, shame on you! Use their merchant profile to hop over to their website and atone for your laziness immediately!
Now about their pizza, it's in a word...loaded. It's pizza with some muscle and you'll need some muscle to carry an extra large home with you. I live around the corner from them so I've ordered from them around one a month or so and have consistently found the food prepared excellently with fresh ingredients.
I typically order their award winning combo pizza with no cheese. There aren't a lot of pizzas that I like without cheese, but pies from Palermo's definitely fits the exception and even after you've stripped off the cheese you're not looking at a naked pizza by any measure. I used to order it with cheese until a friend of mine ordered it one day without cheese and I found that I liked it even better. So if you've ever found their pizza to be too heavy, try ordering it light on the cheese.
I'd also recommend their homemade burgers with freshly baked and buns. Their name might be Palermo Pizza, but you definitely need to try one of their burgers, but like their pies, be prepared for a lot of food. I'd also recommend getting the burgers in the restaurant because the grilled buns will have a little crunch on the outside and be a little tastier.
The only downside is if you want your food in a hurry. All this homemade stuff takes time, so call ahead or make a little more time to sit down.
